Past Project Experience

Hartland Leachate Lagoon & Drainage Improvements
Removed existing lagoon liner and underdrain system and replaced with new primary/secondary liner with automatic leak detection system.  Installed new 20' deep, 10' diameter wet well with new pump station with primary/secondary pumps and automated pump system.  Drainage improvements to the secure sludge landfill were made to handle leachate outbreaks from the an old area of the landfill.

CFWF Landfill Closure
Closure of a 2ac municipal landfill serving the communities of Caratunk, Forks, and West Forks.  Closure included re-shaping solid waste and installing a gas venting layer on the entire landfill before capping the landfill with clay material to make an impermeable surface to shed rainwater.  The crew at Snowman's takes great pride in the fact that substantial completion was achieved in 5 weeks on this closure while facing some extremely difficult weather conditions.
